Some parts of Pres. Arroyo's SONA that related to HRM
"Pinagsasama-sama natin ang mga programa ng DSWD, DOH, GSIS, SSS, PAG-IBIG at iba pang lumalaban sa kahirapan sa isang National Social Welfare Program para proteksyonan ang pinaka-mahihirap mula sa pandaigdigang krisis.."
***For me, we should be very thankful for this benefits, loans, pensions, subsidies, insurance, livelihood projects, and any medical missions, educational and other saving schemes, etc. that they are given to us because we know that it is very helpful to us especially to those employees and especially nowadays that we are now in global crisis.***
"Our P 350 million training partnership with the private sector should qualify 60,000 for call centers, medical transcription, animation and software development, which have a projected demand of one million workers generating $13 billion by 2010."
***Through this training partnership, I can now visualize that as a filipino, our world competitiveness would be more and more great than before. And through this training, I know that it would reduce the underemployment rate that we have right now.***
"Noong SONA ng 2001, naglunsad tayo sa NCR ng patrabaho para sa 20,000 na out of school youth, na tinawag OYSTER. Ngayon, mahigit 20,000 ang ineempleyo ng OYSTER sa buong bansa. In disaster-stricken areas, we have a cash-for-work program."
***It is good to know about that, at least those youth that are out of school would still have earned money with their own effort that have exerted. And for the people in disaster-stricken areas, it is really good to have them the cash-for-work program because by that way, it can still give a hopes for the families that are living there.***
With the difficult situation that our president facing right now, though I am not pro-GMA there is a part of me that I can say that I'm proud of her because of her being strong and because she stands still inspite of the critics that are thrown to her. And I agree with her saying that, "Leadership is not about doing the first easy thing that comes to mind; it is about doing what is necessary, however hard."....and that is the attitude of being a leader.
And I also agree to what Pres. Arroyo said that, "To meet the challenges of tomorrow, we must become more self-reliant, self-sufficient and independent, relying on ourselves more than on the world."
That our success will always be depends on each one of us...
